Being a bit of a country bumpkin and having bumbled my way through my first 6 months in London, I was still yet to experience my first proper gig. Mike and the guys were shocked by this revelation and made it their personal mission to ensure I got a taste of the gig experience.

We were recently approached by Paramount to produce some ideas for a Special Edition package for a series based on one of Rome's most notorious families… The Borgias. It has been said that the tales of historic family inspired the Mario Puzo to create his infamous novel "The Godfather", which went on to become one of the best crime movies of all time.

An action packed thriller starring Nick Cage and a strong supporting cast, JUSTICE questions the lengths a man will go to seek vengeance and has some unexpected twists.
Our brief was to show the films psychological angle, while giving a hint of danger, threat and action, showing the city setting and all with a strong title treatment. We presented 10 fairly polished ideas to Momentum, which you can see in our 'latest work' section, but behind these ideas is a development process that can be intense and time consuming...

With the release of TinTin now at the cinemas it's amazing to see the lengths some fans will go to for the love of their favourite films and characters. The link below shows the Unofficial Film Intro credits for TinTin which were created by London-based designer, Illustrator and fan James Curran. He captures the essence of the original artwork in a simple but informative way and has created something quite beautiful. Curran created the video in just about a month with music from the original TV series. As a huge fan of the series, he incorporated elements from all 24 books, even if they weren't a big part of the movie.
It has made such an impression on the web faithful that through bloggers, it found its way back to Speilberg himself! Who then invited Curran to the UK premiere and subsequently hired him for the next film!

Sunday was a great day. What a way to get our first home win of the season! There's nothing better than beating your local rivals and it's been a long time in coming (15 years since Gallen rose to head home - inspiring the terrace anthem 'Kevin' Gallen's Magic") The tide has turned and West London belongs to Rangers. So it was just another Friday, Mike was on holiday (again), Daz was trying to remember how to switch his computer on, Jack was salivating over the Mark Wahlberg screensaver he just downloaded, Dan was researching funny you-tube videos, Cady was panicking over nothing, Baz was locked in his cupboard and I was checking my Facebook for the 20th time… when we had a long distance phone call from Mike

We love Weekender because we love to party. It has a killer soundtrack, great characters and is great fun. The old ravers at OINK were taken right back and the young party goers among us pointed, laughed and enjoyed it all the same.
This is one of the best projects we've been involved with for a while, involving work for Momentum Pictures and Demon Music. A real team effort with Tom, Jack, Baz and Daz all getting involved, producing a great ID for the movie, the theatrical posters, advertising, website, packaging and even the opening and closing credits.

We all talk a lot of rubbish here in the pigsty, especially Baz who, as a result, is only allowed in the studio once a week. Daz never makes the tea. Jack is very cool. Or is he? Tom thinks he produces the best design and can certainly turn some real stinkers into winning products, but the only thing we know about him for certain is that he is Welsh...
