Rabbit and Pork

So it was just another Friday, Mike was on holiday (again), Daz was trying to remember how to switch his computer on, Jack was salivating over the Mark Wahlberg screensaver he just downloaded, Dan was researching funny you-tube videos, Cady was panicking over nothing, Baz was locked in his cupboard and I was checking my Facebook for the 20th time… when we had a long distance phone call from Mike (a.k.a SGT. Pies, Boss Hog) to check that we were all working hard and not playing solitaire. It was in this moment that he dropped the atomic bombshell that he and fellow piggy Jayne had TIED THE KNOT!! The initial response was “…Boll@cks… you’re having us on…” but after precious data-roaming charges and minutes on Mike’s phone we eventually believed him much to our surprise! and began to think what can we give them as a wedding gift?? we trudged through the Argos catalogue and could find nothing within our budget of £5. So, just like when children give their parents hand-made cards, we thought a special effort would be appreciated more than silver plated tat from Argoose.

“Special” definitely describes the home-made card created for the Sergeant Pies American Wedding, and goes down in the hall of shame as one of our best. Our “special” gift to the couple was so big it took 6 rolls of the tackiest, cheapest wrapping paper money could buy, to wrap it! There were balloons, banners and even ribbons! Attention to detail was present as we wrapped the “His and Hers” work stations and nothing was missed… everything on the desk, on top of the desk, in the desk, the bins under the desk and even the paper in the printer were wrapped and covered in confetti!
