Mixing it with the Stars at the Perfect Sense Premiere

For a couple of months now we have been working our little pigtails off on the upcoming film “Perfect Sense”, and as a treat, we were lucky enough to attend the Premiere at the Curzon Mayfair!! So we put on our glad rags and for once we all looked pretty respectable… I know… we didn’t think it was possible either!! We hit the red carpet and much to our surprise the pap’s didn’t even flinch a trigger finger or blink a camera lens at us… not even an accidental shot of mis-taken identity… thus proving the fact that Jack remains the only person on earth that believes he looks like Ben Affleck… but that’s another story! So on we trotted and our spirits were immediately lifted when we were burying our snouts into our free popcorn, which was demollished way before the film even begun.

After a short intro from David Mackenzie and the cast, the film began and even though it was my third time of watching it, I was still touched by the powerfull imagery, music and acting from start to finish. This film is an emotional and beautiful take on humanity and how we persevere, and continue to live through tough times and moments of hardship. There are laugh out loud moments and times when you will be reaching for a tissue, but one thing for certain is that this film will most definitely leave an impression and you’ll ask yourself the question of “What would you hold on to?”.

Our very own film critic Dan will be writing a little review soon so keep an eye out for it (lets see if he can squeeze “romp” into this one).

The afterparty was at the very swanky Aura on St James Street and after a couple of hours of complimentary cocktails of death (they were pretty strong!) and witnessing some crazy dad dancing by one individual we all made our way home. It was a fantabulous night and many thanks must go to Alex at Arrow for inviting us! Hope we didn’t bring the tone down too much! :)

Perfect Sense is out Friday October 7th, go and see it!
