These little piggies went to Liverpool!
We were recently invited to Liverpool by our friends at Uniform and were treated to a feast of football, food and beer!
After a night of a few beers (few too many that is…), pyrotechnics at a Japanese restaurant and introducing Mike to Jaeger-Bombs, we were a little worse for wear before getting to Anfied, but our spirits were picked up with what we were about to experience.
Uniform have been working with Carlsberg in Anfield to create a brand experience at The Carlsberg Lounge, to reinforce Carlsberg’s 18 year relationship with Liverpool Football Club. They have created an awe inspiring experience that any Liverpool Fan would love and the subtle nods to Liverpool Legends, past and present, add to the visual feast. The room features a Carlsberg logo of laces, Jamie Carragher’s tiny boots (they must have been about a 7!), the Reliving Legendary goals wall, and an incredible mural of Liverpool Legends. The mural artwork in the room was created by the Japanese Street Artist “Dragon76”, and depicts LFC legends Ian Rush, Kenny Dalglish, Stevie G and Robbie Fowler. As you can see from the images below he has created something quite striking which captures the values of the two brands completely. Here is a link to the “Making of” video…

But the experience didn’t end there… we also enjoyed a tour of the ground, including being taken down to the pitch, sitting in the dugout, touching the “This Is Anfield” sign, the Kop, the museum and of course the game!
Uniform have created an unique experience that most LFC fans would die for. A huge THANK YOU again must go to Steve and Tim at Uniform, Richard at Duck and Cover, and Mike for organising it all.
